Time & Talent Pledge

Giving isn’t just about money—our time and our talents are also gifts from God meant to be shared. Choose one or more ways you pledge to serve your church family this spring. Someone will contact you soon with more information and next steps! For more ways to serve, go to villagepres.org/serve.

Help with children's Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday, March 29 at Mission and Antioch. We will have various options, from hiding eggs, to helping with the Dino O'Dell concert at the Mission Campus, to helping clean up after the event.

Write a short note of encouragement for a Confirmation student (complete by March 31).

Village is a proud partner of Johnson County Home-Delivered Meals (formerly Meals on Wheels). Village has a team of drivers who deliver meals to folks who may not be able to make one for themselves. We are in need of a person to commit one Friday each month for about two hours. Meals are picked up at Matt Ross Community Center.

Pastoral Care Telecare callers help us check in on members who are homebound, dealing with illness, living in care facilities, etc. Volunteers make four phone calls every three months.

5-7 p.m. Friday, March 6, Mission Campus. This is an annual event that highlights art from our Preschools, Child & Family Development Center, church members, and community artists. Volunteers are needed for set-up, clean-up, and event management during the event. No specific skills needed; set-up/clean-up may involve some light lifting.

Signing up means receiving an occasional email from Pastor Rodger about people or items in need of prayer.

Optional! Let us know if you want to get more involved in church programs.
